CVE-2026-41116

Arbitrary file write via Windows junction handling

Published Jun 9, 2026 · Updated Jun 9, 2026

Link following in Dell Inventory Collector before 13.8.0 allows local users with low privileges to write arbitrary files. Dell has not disclosed the affected file-operation locus; the advisory states only that the client resolves a Windows junction or mount point unsafely before accessing a file. Exploitation requires local low-privilege access and high-complexity conditions, and the reported consequence is arbitrary file write.
