Victim-context script execution via stored report input
Published Apr 3, 2026 · Updated Apr 3, 2026
Stored XSS in ManageEngine Exchange Reporter Plus before 5802 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through a report. The Reports module stores attacker-controlled Exchange data for the Non-Owner Mailbox Permission report and renders it without proper input validation. An attacker needs Exchange administrative privileges, and execution occurs when a victim opens the report, enabling actions with that victim’s Exchange Reporter Plus privileges.
