CVE-2026-41041Network attack vector

Unintended API access via unencoded MCP identifiers

Published Jul 13, 2026 · Updated Jul 13, 2026

URL path injection in Apache Gravitino 1.0.0 through 1.2.0 allows remote attackers to reach unintended API endpoints through MCP tools. The MCP REST client interpolates user-supplied identifiers directly into f-string URL paths without encoding each path segment. Unauthenticated network access to the MCP service is sufficient, and crafted separators redirect backend requests to unintended Gravitino API paths.
