Local command execution via misquoted curl arguments
Published Apr 16, 2026 · Updated Apr 16, 2026
Command injection in radare2 before 9236f44 allows local users to execute arbitrary commands through a crafted PDB name in rabin2 -PP. The non-SSL UNIX PDB download path inserts attacker-controlled filename data into a curl shell command after escaping it for double quotes but encloses it in single quotes. A crafted PE is processed locally with rabin2 -PP; the vulnerable fallback is the default non-SSL UNIX build path and runs injected commands with the invoking user's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
