Authenticated DAG metadata disclosure via omitted authorization
Published Jun 1, 2026 · Updated Jun 1, 2026
Authorization bypass in Apache Airflow 3.2.0 through 3.2.1 allows remote authenticated users to read metadata for unauthorized Dags. The partitioned_dag_runs list route omits ReadableDagsFilterDep, while the pending-run route omits requires_access_dag, so asset-only checks return per-Dag state, schedules, partitions, and wiring. Exploitation requires global Asset:read access in a deployment using per-Dag read scoping; no data modification or service interruption is reported.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
