CVE-2026-41013Network attack vector

Privilege escalation via comma-delimited CIFS option smuggling

Published Jun 1, 2026 · Updated Jun 1, 2026

Argument injection in smb-volume-release before 3.60.0 allows remote authenticated users to gain elevated access on shared Diego cells. The SMB mount-option validator accepts a tenant-controlled comma inside an allowed value, causing mount.cifs to parse additional, unapproved kernel options. The same path is included in cf-deployment before 56.0.0; a low-privileged CF space developer can weaken mount controls or access unauthorized host files.
