CVE-2026-41009

Arbitrary file reads and deletion via blob IDs

Published May 27, 2026 · Updated May 27, 2026

Path traversal in Cloud Foundry Foundation BOSH Director before 282.1.12 allows attackers to read and delete arbitrary files. AgentClient passes an agent-supplied compile_log_id or blobstore_id unchanged through ResourceManager, and LocalClient joins it to the blobstore root without normalization. Exploitation requires control of a managed VM's agent reply and the local blobstore provider; traversed paths can expose secrets and delete files needed by the Director.
