Application crash via unbounded function-wrapper cache

Resource exhaustion in affected Spring Cloud Function releases allows physically proximate attackers to crash the application through function lookups. SimpleFunctionRegistry caches a new FunctionInvocationWrapper for every distinct composed function definition without limiting wrappedFunctionDefinitions, allowing unique lookups to retain objects until heap exhaustion. The vendor assessment requires low privileges, physical access, and user interaction; the bounded consequence is an out-of-memory crash.
