CVE-2026-40957Network attack vector

Administrator credential capture via frameable login page

Published Jul 15, 2026 · Updated Jul 15, 2026

Clickjacking in Absolute Secure Access servers before 14.56 allows remote attackers to capture administrator credentials through a framed login page. The login page permits rendering inside an attacker-controlled frame; Absolute has not disclosed which anti-framing response control is absent or ineffective. Exploitation requires an administrator to visit a malicious website and interact with the embedded login interface, limiting the reported consequence to credential capture.
