CVE-2026-40955Network attack vector

Client service interruption via traffic-parser integer underflow

Published Jul 15, 2026 · Updated Jul 15, 2026

Integer underflow in Absolute Security's Absolute Secure Access traffic parser before 14.55 allows remote attackers to interrupt client operation. The traffic-parsing function performs an integer calculation that underflows while processing attacker-controlled tunnel-protocol data. Exploitation requires intimate protocol knowledge, total tunnel-protocol control, and active user interaction; only non-persistent availability loss is reported.
