Heap buffer overflow in Absolute Secure Access clients before 14.56 allows local users with administrator privileges to crash the client. The certificate parsing function writes beyond a heap buffer, but Absolute has not disclosed the specific parser locus or certificate field controlling the write. Exploitation requires local access and administrator permissions, and the bounded consequence is interruption of the client under the attacker's control.
