Authenticated code execution via git revision injection
Published Apr 21, 2026 · Updated Apr 21, 2026
Argument injection in affected Tekton Pipelines releases before 1.11.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute code on the resolver pod. The Git resolver passes an unvalidated revision beginning with a hyphen to git fetch, which interprets it as an upload-pack option. Exploitation requires permission to submit ResolutionRequest objects and a valid local repository path; successful code execution can read cluster-wide Secrets.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
