Site configuration takeover via missing CSRF validation
Published Apr 21, 2026 · Updated Apr 21, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in World Wide Broadcast Network AVideo 29.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to rewrite site settings. objects/configurationUpdate.json.php accepts cross-origin POST values and saves them without the existing untrusted-request or token checks. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to visit attacker-controlled content, after which encoder, SMTP, page-head, branding, and policy settings can be replaced.
