Application crash via TIM decoder stack overflow

Stack buffer overflow in GIMP's TIM image loader on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6, 7, 8, and 9 allows local users to crash GIMP. The 4BPP decoding path writes decoded pixel data past a stack-allocated variable-length array without checking its bounds. Exploitation requires GIMP to be installed and a user to open a crafted TIM image; the reported consequence is an application crash only.
