Unauthenticated information disclosure via exposed Git log
Published Apr 21, 2026 · Updated Apr 21, 2026
Information disclosure in WWBN AVideo 29.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read deployment and developer data via git.json.php. The web-root script runs git log -1 without loading configuration or authentication controls and serializes the command's complete output as JSON. Any network client can obtain the deployed commit hash, author name and email address, and commit message without credentials or user interaction.
