Authenticated command execution via Quartz job deserialization
Published Apr 16, 2026 · Updated Apr 16, 2026
Deserialization in DataEase before 2.10.21 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands through malicious Quartz job data. Quartz StdJDBCDelegate passes the qrtz_job_details JOB_DATA BLOB to ObjectInputStream without a filter or class allowlist, enabling the bundled CommonsCollections6 chain. An attacker must first obtain write access to the Quartz job table; the next cron trigger invokes Runtime.exec as root in the de_core container.
