Stored XSS via forged settings form submission
Published Apr 22, 2026 · Updated Apr 22, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in ravster Inquiry cart 3.4.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to store scripts through a forged admin request. The rd_ic_settings_page function accepts settings-form submissions without verifying a WordPress nonce, then persists attacker-controlled values that execute in the admin area. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to interact with attacker-controlled content; the resulting script executes with that administrator's browser privileges.
