Administrator session compromise via unescaped Autodiscover logs
Published Apr 21, 2026 · Updated Apr 21, 2026
Stored XSS in mailcow: dockerized before 2026-03b allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in an administrator browser. The Autodiscover endpoint stores an unescaped EMailAddress value in Redis, and dashboard.js inserts that value into the Autodiscover log table as HTML. Exploitation requires an administrator to view the poisoned log, exposing the authenticated session and mailbox-management actions.
