Authenticated command execution via stored configuration injection
Published May 27, 2026 · Updated May 27, 2026
OS command injection in affected REX and mbNET firmware allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through malicious configuration values. The configuration generator stores attacker-controlled values and passes them to a system execution operation without validating or neutralizing command syntax. High-privilege configuration access is required, and the payload executes when a later configuration is generated, enabling full device compromise.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0.0.0 <=8.4.4
