Authenticated redirect manipulation via missing authorization
Published Jun 17, 2026 · Updated Jun 17, 2026
Missing authorization in Yoast SEO Premium 26.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to create unsafe redirects through its manager. The redirect-management path fails to restrict Author-level users to 301 or 410 status codes and relative destination URLs. An Author account is required; crafted rules can send visitors off-site or disrupt affected routes, while no data-reading capability is reported.
