Unauthenticated station impersonation via WebSocket connections
Published Jun 25, 2026 · Updated Jun 25, 2026
Missing authentication in EVoke Charging Station Management System WebSocket endpoints allows remote attackers to impersonate charging stations. The gateway accepts OCPP WebSocket connections without requiring a credential that binds the presented charger identifier to a registered station. No account or user interaction is required; a successful connection can expose sensitive data, alter charging operations, or interrupt service.
