CVE-2026-40690Network attack vector

Authenticated topology disclosure via unfiltered asset graph

Published Apr 24, 2026 · Updated Apr 24, 2026

Access control bypass in Apache Airflow before 3.2.1 allows remote authenticated users to discover unauthorized DAG and asset names. The /ui/dependencies data-dependency route returned the requested asset node even when no producing, consuming, or scheduling DAG was readable. Read access to one DAG is required; exploitation reveals names and permitted topology fragments but does not expose task data from unreadable DAGs.
