Resource exhaustion in F5 BIG-IP products allows remote attackers to stop virtual servers from accepting new client connections. F5 has not disclosed the traffic pattern or the concrete SSL/TLS processing operation that fails to limit resource allocation. The condition is reachable without authentication only on virtual servers with SSL profiles, and its reported effect is refusal of new connections rather than data exposure or modification.
