Stored XSS via unencoded username attribute
Published Apr 18, 2026 · Updated Apr 18, 2026
Stored XSS in ChurchCRM before 7.2.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in an administrator's browser. UserEditor.php inserts a database-loaded username into an input value attribute without HTML attribute encoding, allowing quotes to inject event handlers. An administrator must save the crafted login name, and another administrator must open that user's editor page; execution occurs in the victim's browser session.
