CVE-2026-40523Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Database disclosure and service interruption via report parameters

Published Jun 29, 2026 · Updated Jun 29, 2026

SQL injection in FrontAccounting before 2.4.20 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary database content through report parameters. The Audit Trail handler in reporting/rep710.php concatenates PARAM_2 and PARAM_3 into SQL filters for a.type and a.user without db_escape. SA_GLANALYTIC permission is required; injected UNION queries expose database rows, while repeated SLEEP() calls across joined rows exhaust connections and interrupt service.
