Database data extraction via unescaped report parameter
Published Jun 29, 2026 · Updated Jun 29, 2026
SQL injection in FrontAccounting before 2.4.20 allows remote authenticated users to extract database data through Bank Statement reports. The rep601.php handler reads PARAM_0 from POST data and concatenates it into a bank-account ID WHERE clause without quoting, casting, parameterization, or database escaping. A valid account with SA_BANKREP permission is required; UNION query results, including usernames, password hashes, and email addresses, are rendered in the generated PDF.
