Incorrect authorization in OpenHarness before commit bd4df81 allows attackers to read sensitive local files through grep or glob root inputs. The permission boundary normalizes path and file_path but omits the directory-scoped root argument, while child-oriented deny globs do not match the root itself. Exploitation requires a victim to run an OpenHarness session on attacker-influenced content; successful read-only calls disclose files or directory listings without changing data or interrupting service.
