Authenticated file disclosure via unchecked memory path
Published Apr 16, 2026 · Updated Apr 16, 2026
Path traversal in OpenHarness before commit dd1d235 allows remote authenticated users to read host files through the /memory show command. The _memory_handler joins attacker-controlled path input to the project memory directory and calls Path.read_text without resolving the target or checking containment. Reachability requires chat access through an enabled remote gateway, and disclosure is limited to files readable by the OpenHarness process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
