Remote permission-mode escalation via gateway command dispatch
Published Apr 16, 2026 · Updated Apr 16, 2026
Missing authorization in OpenHarness before commit dd1d235 allows remote authenticated users to change the runtime permission mode. The ohmo gateway dispatches slash commands from inbound chat through the shared registry without distinguishing local-only administrative handlers from remote-safe commands. Chat access to a configured remote channel is required; /permissions full_auto disables the running instance's normal approval boundary.
