Improper attribute authorization in Kimai before 2.53.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter their own restricted billing rates. The User Preferences API PATCH endpoint persists hourly_rate and internal_rate values without checking each preference object's isEnabled() restriction. A standard account with API access can change only its own rates, affecting future timesheets, invoices, exports, and internal financial data.
