CVE-2026-40466Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via HTTP Discovery redirect

Published Apr 24, 2026 · Updated Apr 24, 2026

Code injection in Apache ActiveMQ before 5.19.6 and 6.0.0 through 6.2.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute code on the broker JVM. BrokerView connector methods accept an HTTP Discovery URI whose attacker-controlled response supplies a blocked VM transport and brokerConfig URL, causing ResourceXmlApplicationContext to instantiate singleton beans before BrokerService validation. Exploitation requires Jolokia connector-management access and the activemq-http module on the classpath; successful exploitation executes arbitrary JVM-host commands.
