Unauthorized debug changes via unauthenticated POST requests
Published Apr 17, 2026 · Updated Apr 17, 2026
Missing authentication in Anviz CX2 Lite and CX7 firmware allows remote attackers to alter debug settings through crafted POST requests. The devices process debug-configuration POST requests without authenticating the requester, including requests that enable SSH. Network access to a device is sufficient; the state change compromises configuration integrity and can expose remote administration for later compromise.
