Availability loss via unchecked code-cache string length
Published Apr 13, 2026 · Updated Apr 13, 2026
Integer overflow in Samsung Escargot 97e8115ab1110bc502b4b5e4a0c689a71520d335 allows local users to trigger undefined behavior. CodeCacheReader trusts a serialized string length and adds one before stack allocation; the fix rejects lengths above STRING_MAXIMUM_LENGTH. Reachability requires non-default code-cache support and attacker influence over a cache file, while the published impact is limited to availability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
