Local denial of service via ICMPv6 null dereference

Null pointer dereference in Windows TCP/IP allows local users to crash affected Windows client and server systems with an ICMPv6 packet. In tcpip.sys, ICMPv6 packet processing fails to reject a null buffer returned by NdisGetDataBuffer before dereferencing it. Local execution access is required, but no privileges or user interaction are needed; the documented consequence is availability loss only.
