CVE-2026-40173Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated admin access via pprof token disclosure

Published Apr 15, 2026 · Updated Apr 15, 2026

Credential disclosure in Dgraph 25.3.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to obtain an Alpha admin token via an HTTP debug endpoint. The Alpha server imports net/http/pprof and leaves /debug/pprof/cmdline on the default mux, which returns process arguments containing a --security token in cleartext. Exploitation requires network access to the Alpha HTTP port and a token supplied on the command line; replay of that token grants protected administrative operations.
