Shared Git API token disclosure via unvalidated serverURL
Published Apr 21, 2026 · Updated Apr 21, 2026
Information disclosure in affected Tekton Pipelines 1.x releases allows remote authenticated users to steal the system Git API token. ResolveAPIGit accepts an unvalidated serverURL, obtains the configured token when token is omitted, and attaches it to requests sent to that URL. TaskRun or PipelineRun creation, API mode, an omitted token parameter, and a configured shared token are required; the exposed token typically reads private repositories.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
