Filesystem metadata disclosure via unvalidated glob pattern
Published Apr 9, 2026 · Updated Apr 9, 2026
Path traversal in PraisonAI praisonaiagents before 1.5.128 allows remote attackers to enumerate filesystem metadata via glob patterns. FileTools.list_files validates its directory argument but sends an unchecked pattern containing parent-directory segments to Path.glob and returns metadata for matches outside the workspace. Reachability requires influence over an LLM agent's file_ops tool calls through direct prompting or injected content; file contents remain protected.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
