Unauthenticated service interruption via bd process termination
Published May 13, 2026 · Updated May 13, 2026
Denial of service in F5 BIG-IP Advanced WAF and ASM allows remote attackers to terminate the bd process with undisclosed requests. The bd process fails after handling an undisclosed request, and F5 maps the flaw to an unchecked return value but has not identified the exact check. Exposure requires an Advanced WAF or ASM security policy on a virtual server; successful requests interrupt application-security processing without reported data disclosure or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
