Unauthenticated file read via cluster API traversal
Published Apr 21, 2026 · Updated Apr 21, 2026
Path traversal in CrowdStrike Falcon LogScale Self-Hosted 1.224.0 through 1.235.0 allows remote attackers to read server files. An exposed, unauthenticated cluster API endpoint accepts crafted paths without restricting resolution to its intended directory, enabling arbitrary filesystem reads. The endpoint must be network-exposed; Next-Gen SIEM is unaffected, and the record establishes neither file writes nor code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=1.224.0 <=1.235.0 changes=[{"at":"1.233.1, 1.234.1, 1.235.1, 1.228.2","status":"unaffected"}]
