Out-of-bounds reads in The Sleuth Kit 4.14.0 and earlier allow attackers to disclose heap data or crash tools via crafted APFS images. The wrapped_key_parser class advances through nested keybag tag-length-value records using attacker-controlled lengths without checking them against the allocated buffer. Exploitation requires a user or workflow to process the image with an APFS-parsing tool, exposing adjacent heap data or terminating that process.
