Protected-partition writes via unvalidated service access
Published Apr 17, 2026 · Updated Apr 17, 2026
Improper privilege management in REDMAGIC 11 Pro firmware through V1.0.0B14MR1 allows local users to write protected partitions. The device service interface accepts requests from non-privileged applications without validating that the caller is authorized for sensitive operations. A low-privileged application and user interaction are required, and successful exploitation also permits changes to writable system properties.
