Contributor-level stored XSS via unescaped shortcode title
Published Mar 21, 2026 · Updated Mar 21, 2026
Stored XSS in HoosierDragon Text Toggle 1.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through shortcode titles. The avp_texttoggle_part_shortcode() function concatenates the title attribute into both an HTML attribute and body content without escaping. Contributor-level access is required to store a crafted title, and the injected script runs whenever a user opens the affected page.
