Pre-authentication SQL injection via unanchored boolean regex
Published Jun 24, 2026 · Updated Jun 24, 2026
SQL injection in graph_view.php in Cacti 1.2.30 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter database queries without authentication. The thumbnails request validator uses an unanchored (true|false) regular expression, so values with attacker-controlled prefixes or suffixes pass validation. The upstream advisory does not identify the SQL query that consumes the accepted value or document whether exploitation reads data, changes it, or interrupts service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
