CVE-2026-39941Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Browser script execution via unencoded event fields

Published Apr 9, 2026 · Updated Apr 9, 2026

Reflected XSS in ChurchCRM before 7.1.0 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in users' browsers through crafted event data. EditEventAttendees.php reads the EName and EDesc POST fields and emits them directly into HTML without output encoding or sanitization. The attack requires a user to process attacker-controlled POST data; the script runs in that user's ChurchCRM origin and can alter displayed content or access browser-held application data.
