Unauthenticated command execution via default Axis2 credentials
Published Apr 24, 2026 · Updated Apr 24, 2026
Remote code execution in BridgeHead Software FileStore before 24A allows remote attackers to run OS commands through Axis2 administration. The network-exposed Axis2 console accepts configured default credentials, permits an authenticated service archive upload, and deploys the archive as a SOAP-callable Java service. No prior account or user interaction is required; successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied commands on the FileStore host.
