Server resource disclosure via unrestricted $ref dereferencing
Published Apr 8, 2026 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
SSRF in AgentFront FrontMCP before 1.0.4 and mcp-from-openapi before 2.3.0 allows remote attackers to read server-reachable resources. OpenAPIToolGenerator.initialize() passes an untrusted OpenAPI document to json-schema-ref-parser dereference() without URL, protocol, host, or file restrictions. Exploitation requires an application to process an attacker-supplied specification; the resulting requests can expose internal services, cloud metadata credentials, or local file contents.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
