CVE-2026-39851Network attack vector

Authenticated email enumeration via distinct mutation errors

Published Apr 8, 2026 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

Information disclosure in affected Saleor releases allows remote authenticated users to enumerate registered email addresses. The requestEmailChange GraphQL mutation queried User records for the proposed new email and returned a distinct UNIQUE error when a match existed, instead of proceeding uniformly. Any authenticated account with its current password can submit the mutation over the network and identify storefront users for account reconnaissance and spear-phishing targeting.
