Local code execution via crafted SQL requests
Published Apr 14, 2026 · Updated Apr 14, 2026
SQL injection in Fortinet FortiClient EMS 7.0, 7.2.0 through 7.2.12, and 7.4.0 through 7.4.5 allows local users to execute code. Fortinet has not disclosed the request handler, input field, or SQL statement that fails to neutralize attacker-controlled SQL syntax. Exploitation requires local access and high privileges, and successful injection executes unauthorized code or commands without user interaction.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=7.4.0 <=7.4.1
- Affected versionversion=7.4.3 <=7.4.4
