Unauthenticated root command execution via jid injection

OS command injection in Fortinet FortiSandbox 4.4.0 through 4.4.8 allows remote attackers to run root commands via crafted HTTP requests. The tracer-behavior endpoint treats pipe characters in the jid query parameter as shell command delimiters instead of neutralizing them. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful requests execute as root, and the CNA also identifies nine FortiSandbox PaaS builds as affected.
