Contributor-level DOM-based script execution
Published Apr 8, 2026 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
DOM-based XSS in Elfsight WhatsApp Chat for CodeCanyon 1.2.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script in browsers. Patchstack has not disclosed the affected DOM input, execution sink, or unsafe operation that transfers untrusted data into executable page content. Contributor-level access and a privileged user's interaction are required; successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled JavaScript in that user's browser.
